Joram Regis grew up in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Sarah J. Hale High School. He is a proud graduate of Norfolk State University where he earned a bachelor’s of science degree and master’s of arts degree in education.
He’s been an educator for more than 14 years, starting his career as a professional school counselor at Booker T. Washington High School. He is also a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked with several high schools to facilitate and monitor parent engagement programs and pupil personnel services.
Most recently, he worked as an educational consultant and instructional designer for several colleges and research hospitals. His educational philosophy is “All” students, regardless of background or circumstances, must continue on to post-secondary education.
