Freidricka Camille joins the USG team as an ACES Career Readiness Coordinator assisting high school students in recognizing their talents and personal strengths through career-readiness programming and a positive youth development approach. As a first-generation immigrant and the first in her family to attend college in the United States, Freidricka is excited to contribute to a program that empowers and enables underrepresented youth to succeed in school, work, and life.
Prior to USG, Freidricka adminstered a college and career mentoring program for youth ages 17-24 with Asian American LEAD, a non-profit serving under-resourced Asian American youth in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Her prior experience also includes facilitating career readiness curriculum and coordinating the job placement process for over 350 students at Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School’s Corporate Work Study Program.
Before working with high school students, Freidricka worked at the US Peace Corps Headquarters in Washington, DC for nine years. At Peace Corps HQ, she supported the operations of its mission in various administrative capacities. Freidricka holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Strayer University.
In her free time, Freidricka enjoys playing strategic board games (to name a few, Settlers of Catan, Near and Far, Tokaido, and Ticket to Ride), hiking, doing yoga, cooking, and taking care of a growing collection of house plants.
